You can respect their organisation and commitment as fans without respecting their politics. I highly doubt it's 100% unanimous throughout their support anyway.

The fact is ultras culture over the past decade in Europe has shifted a lot to the right and if you have groups with a political affiliation it will now be a far right-wing one more often than left. If you hated every club because of the half-baked political 'ideas' of their ultras groups (which those who aren't involved don't get to choose at the end of the day), there'd be very few continental teams left to like.

I haven't heard anyone make any threats of violence towards you,perhaps a tarring everyone with the same brush thing going on which is a bit harsh.
As for making threats over the internet rather than to peoples faces, you do realise this is an English clubs messageboard you are on & Historically English people respond to threats in the flesh & to quote the great man- "we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills we shall never surrender".football isn't meant to be some sort of wargame though.

Regarding the BNP comment, I don't really get the relevance? What influence would the BNP have on me buying a polish league shirt?

Just a guess but the BNP shirt wouldn't have explosives sewn into it unlike the UAF shirt,same sort of relevance.

There seems to me to be large leaps in logic and some pretty big assumptions being made here - I'm talking about wanting to buy a Football shirt and NOT wanting any political connotations or associations with that shirt, hence my question. Seems to me that perhaps there is a bit of a Nationalistic association to Lech, which puts me off buying the shirt. That would be pretty much the end of it for me really.
