I probably commented earlier in this thread so forgive me. I went to the second Knebworth on a sharra from Piccadilly Records. Two nights with no sleep and disgusting toilets out me off festivals. The New Barbarian s were better than Zeppelin from memory and Zeppelin were not as good as Commander Cody.....

I've listened to a bit of Led Zeppelin, thanks to comments and prompts on the various music threads on here, and I thought now was a good time to dig deeper. So I've Just started reading When Giants Walked The Earth by Mick Wall.

Are you actually a Zep fan?
I went to the first Knebworth gig and Zep were definitely better than Commander Cody and any of the other support acts.
Footage of Zep performing Kashmir at Knebworth popped up on my Twitter feed yesterday and it was excellent.

Classic Rock published results of a recent poll they ran of who is the greatest rock band ever and inevitably Zep won that. Second and third place were slightly surprising though.
