was he not linked with a big club not to long ago. can't see him being sacked. Probably is to Leeds as can't see Wolves taking on a inexperienced manager.

Looks like he was pushed. Which is incredibly bizarre considering the job he has done. The statement from the chairman is astounding.

"Lee and his coaching staff have put their all into the job over the past three seasons and has made a huge contrinution to the club.
"However with 16 matches to go we still have an oppotunity to achieve promotion and we have made this change with this in mind."

What more do they want from him. League one has been very strong this season with Charlton, both Sheffield teams, and MK Dons all up there. Something has to have gone on behind the scenes or the fans will be turning on the board.

BBC also quote that his coaching staff has gone as well, so suspect he'll have engineered a move elsewhere along with his staff.
