Those two things aside though, these are allegations. How many footballers get trapped into this at xmas party's or piss ups in general? It could just be a matter of a slapper wanting a quick few grand. It could be he's a dirty little rapist, but neither are confirmed as yet.

My good mate is an Oldham Athletic fan, he was a bit skeptical when they gave him a chance.

It was all going well until he had a punch up with the players and punched the manager. After that Oldham's season derailed. Hughes was loaned out and the manager was sacked. Gone were Oldham's play off hopes (who were odds on to go up for a while) . They've never been the same since.

I did say he deserved another chance, he done the time, but he's been a prick on several occasions unfortunately.
