Lee Hughes

It's not as if he is that good a striker
! Shame on Oldham and Notts for employing this twat when there's thousands of young, honest lads out there who miss out on the chance to play pro football.

He's been charged now, what a horrible man!

Saw him at Cheltenham a couple of years ago, it was the season he signed for Notts County as he was there with kasper and others, the whole of one of the outside bars watched as he acted up, giving it the biggun, shouting and showing off about going into one of the boxes. A bloke who i didnt know turned to me and said, "you'd think, he might have learnt a lesson what he has done and been through, doesnt look like it does it?" Today has made me think of that bloke and how right he was... Hughes is a scumbag

I have no time for people like him and even less for the clubs that employ him purely for their own benefit and an attempt to better themselves.

He has served his time fair enough, but he should not be playing professional football and being handsomely paid to do so.

If Silva, Hart or Kompany did what Hughes did I'd want them sacking immediately and never to play top flight football ever again.

I hope he gets buggered to within an inch of his life on a daily basis during his next internment.

(I know that some Bluemooners think being bummed all day is anything but a punishment - I'm assuming that Hughes won't be looking forward to it)

Yup, shouldn't be allowed back on a football pitch. Especially after this new case, disgusting individual.

Was a disgrace that this guy was ever allowed to earn a living on the football pitch again after what he did. Should still be locked up.

Without in anyway condoning the actions of Hughes, what kind of job should he (or others like him) be able to carry out to earn a living? Is there a list of what is deemed as ''acceptable forms of employment''?
If he has no other qualifications / experience, would you rather he be on the dole claiming benefits?
He's working, doing what he does best and paying taxes.

I have no problem with him being able to earn a living from the game now that he has served his sentence, I certainly wouldnt want it to be at a club I support though.
