Lee Mason What A Twat (the ref)

in relation to elephant mans calls for penalties see (bacon face academy) the ref was from notlob today which goes to show the ineptness of the fa as shown by rafa benitez last week pie eaters try to help pie eaters knobs help knobs in bacon faces world thats why david gills on the fa committee ask rafa...by the way mr treves we still 1-0 u knob!

Referee was fully shite today.

At least he was consistent and missed Elano's hand ball in the area towards the end of the game! Looked to be a pen from where I was, although it was quite far away from us.

I've got plenty - starting with worst ref ever (excluding George Courtney who was untouchable)

Though Dunne deserved the red - Zaki should have gone for the elbow. Countless wrong calls including missing that a ball went out of play by about a yard. He completely lost the plot. I thought Onuoha was gonna hit him at one point and he never loses his rag - great win though. Proud of the boys today

I take it, you didn't go to the Wigan game at their place, because this guy could have ran master classes on refereeing next to Steve Bennett based on their 2 "performances" and I thought today's ref was dreadful!
exactly what i said to the people near me, next to bennets peformance this twat was a collina.

The decision that really pissed me off was when Kirkland came forward for the corner in the last minute of injury time. He took SWP out with a thigh high tackle when he was breaking clear and would have been two on one with Robinho and the only Wigan defender.

When Mason eventually caught up with Kirkland he gave him a yellow card, now granted Kirkland wasn't the "last man" but I would back SWP and Robinho against one defender and an open goal any time - the man in black bottled it big time.

By the way Elano chested the ball and Catermole was bearly touched as he ran out of the area but managed to go down as if shot by a sniper.

...and talking of handballs in the area, didn't one of the Wigan players virtually stop a cross with his hand, the ball dropped to his feet and he cleared it 40 yds upfield? First half in front of their fans. Clear penalty to City not given.

correct, it was medchiot(sp) the ex chelsea guy.

I was just waiting for them to get a penalty, and when Zabaleta ''brought down'' Cattermole I thought that was it, thank God, eh? :)
