Dirty Leeds fans oyer ere are bricking it.

They’ve shut their big gobs cos they know that if we hit our straps they could get panned.....they’ve seen us do it to better teams than them.
We're far from 'bricking it' but I'm certainly not thinking we will win, at some point we will take a thumping. Maybe tomorrow.

Torres--------Sterling--------Foden
--------B Silva---------Kevin
-----------------Dinho

This is I think our current best front 6 (+ Jesus when fit and rotate however), hopefully starts against Leeds.

Mahrez doesn't bring the pressing energy these 7 bring, and Rodri can't run like Dinho.

I think Rodri should be tested in some games as a CB, think he can be an absolutely brilliant partner to Laporte.

If he does play, I'd have B Silva probably drop deeper to not get out run in midfield.

With Dias coming in, there’s no chance of Rodri being a CB unless in a crisis.

That's true.

And Rodri is young and perhaps its reactionary, he can't do what Dinho does, but he tends to really suffer against high pressing teams.

I think Mendy and Walker playing wide more often has made our DMs more susceptible, before they tucked in way more and controlled the midfield with Dinho or Rodri, but Pep has used 2 DMs to perhaps negate this so maybe it will work out down the line.

B Silva is the perfect partner if we go 433 or 4231 I think though because his stamina is insane in midfield, he's had amazing games against top 6 teams in that position.

We just need to see what the balance is like with him coming in. He may make Rodri secure. We simply don’t know yet.

Lol , Brilliant video ....

i was actually at that game , and on that train!
That was phenomenal. The haircuts, the fashion, the angst all on display there. The pitch was basically a bog and some of the tackles were X-rated. I grew up in the 70's going to Washington Diplomats (Cruyff) vs. New York Cosmos (Pele) matches, but it was nothing like this. Any City-produced videos like that available?

Those embankments on the way from the station were where all their knobheads would lob bottles, stones etc at us on the way in and out, as if I needed reminding why I hate the twats. A decent bit of nostalgia though I didn't spot myself on the special but saying that I'm not sure I'd recognise myself 43 years ago!

I'm gonna keep looking mate , it's a great video i agree, and is exactly the way it was in the 1970's ... we always took great followings to Leeds back then , and we've certainly had one or two really explosive cup ties with them ...... this game was no different.

Could the game be off because of the bad weather?

The weather in Leeds is down as 'heavy rain, moderate breeze' all day , so it doesn't look like there's gonna be much respite from it ..... it would appear that Elland Road has a decent drainage system, so we might be okay , and there will be no severe weather problems for fans inside or outside the ground to deal with, as there just won't be any fans ..... but yes , constant torrential rain and a badly waterlogged pitch can always convince a referee that it's unsafe and unplayable .... we can only wait and see.

The Elland Road pitch

The pitch measures approximately 115 yards (105 m) long by 74 yards (68 m) wide, with run-off space on each side.[32] There is an under-soil heating system installed beneath the surface, consisting of 59 miles (95 km) of piping.[30] This, together with a good drainage system, means that only heavy fog, a blizzard, or flooding would force the club to cancel a match. There are wells sunk approximately 70 feet (21 m) beneath the West Stand and the North Stand and a pumping system is situated under the South Stand, meaning that the club can draw on its own supply of water, should the need arise. However, the first time the club used it, the pitch turned black as the water was too cold.
