If we had won, Peps a genius for rotating the squad. If he loses we have blown our titles chances...except it's not that simple is it!

We have a very big lead in the league and united just aren't good enough to catch us in 8 games. We have a very tricky tie away in Europe and then Chelsea who are playing very well under a superb manager. I know which games I'd rather win and prioritise - Leeds was last.

I've said many times we need a striker who can convert chances. Sterling is either outstanding or wretched and is rarely in the middle. He's just got no consistency for me and isn't a natural striker. Dare I say it but if we had Giroud or Ings would he have got one? Someone who's game is mainly scoring goals rather than chasing chickens. Probably. We need a poacher - someone who's competent. Haaland has his second part of his interview this week as well!!

We will beat Dortmund and we will beat Chelsea and we will beat Villa I'm sure about that. Just be patient :)

Just to add I don't know a single united fan who thinks they've got a slight chance of winning the title. They all admit they will drop points and will concentrate on Europa as it's a winnable trophy for them and for Bilbo would be an outstanding season!

Even though pep will support his players in public he will know which ones fucked up and they will be a little closer to the exit door . Definitely something off with sterling and pep and tbh. He needs going as that performance was terrible and for the money he is on not good enough for Manchester City . Delap must be pissed off as he can’t near the team for some reason but I think pep has reassured him about next season . We didn’t deserve nothing from yesterday but we move in and I think pep will not make the mistake again . It does show we need a striker and a proper left back because that clown mendy should be not allowed in the ground anymore and we just write the £50 million off as our worst signing ever .

Sterling is definitely off form but where's the evidence it is from an issue between him and Pep?

In relative terms is Mendy our worst signing ever? Lee Bradbury? Mangala? RSC? Bony?

I don't see Jesus as a striker haha! I think he is a good wide player who can score, but is nowhere near an Aguero replacement.

Understand the reasons for the changes but it was just too many in one go.

If you want to give Ake minutes, you don’t start with Mendy who needs minutes himself and Zinchenko out of position. You can’t come up with this stating you have spend 20 hrs studying Leeds

Ake was solid enough.
Zinchenko is actually a midfielder.

Just to give you some stats that blow your theory wide open, in the last 13 games in all comps they have won 7, drawn 5 and lost 1.

In their last 11 league games, since January 27th, they have won 4, drawn 5 and lost 2.

What in your right mind makes you think they will win 8 out of 8 league games?

All his “lovers” need to justify his performance today, it was a disgrace for someone who is trying to negotiate a Pay rise/ contract. He wasn’t alone today, Gabby was as bad and Mendy even worse.
Not sure how we go forward from this defeat to a 10 man mid team table.

Are you really a blue? Those are some bizarre comments for a side that is carrying all before them.

Mendy has been struggling but Jesus and Sterling are top quality players. I agree Sterling had a bad game but it is you that has to justify your hostile stance not City fans who support Sterling and see their side top of the table.

I am a bit concerned about the form of Sterling but he will come good again. Jesus needs chances. Yesterday we couldn't get in behind Leeds and couldn't get Jesus the ball in the box largely because we played a reserve side and everyone understands why. I would have brought on Mahrez after an hour to get past their defenders.

Well we didn't and if you rest a lot of players and then coast against a good well coached side you can have problems. We needed a cutting edge against Leeds. That for this City side is usually KDB, Foden or Mahrez.

Can you imagine though if we had started one of them and they had picked up an injury. We did the rught thing. Give credit to your opponent. Maybe grumble that pep made the wrong subs and the players who started strolled instead of fought.

Only two defeats in our past 19 league games winning the other 17.

Still 6 games to play but I think all things considered its been a great season to date.

We could easily have won this game , its not as though Leeds played us off the park with 2 shots on goal for the whole game.
