Leeds Thread - 2021/22

Total madness, he made a completely mediocre Championship team competitive and finally got them promoted in his second season. He kept them in for a year playing one of the most idiosyncratic football EPL ever seen.
Alioski leaving at the last season and long term injuries to Bamford and Phillips have been equivalent to us or the dippers losing the first eleven, they were mainstay of his tactics. I really feel sorry losing him from the English football and I particularly deride all those pundits questioning his lack of 'Plan B', the very same ones questioning Pep when we stumble.

Regardless of the coach, I think Leeds future rests on the fitness of Kalvin Phillips

If they'd have brought in a holding midfield player and a striker in January they would have fared better. They got hammered 4-0 yesterday but hit the post twice and created at least four other good chances.

Twats why sack him when he was guiding them in the right direction
Actually would have made a lot of sense if they went down, won the championship and came back up with all that championship money. They would easily conquer the championship.

Edit: Just noticed that the money teams make from staying in the pl is actually more than the money made from winning the championship.

I had to google Jesse Marsch !! 14 seasons playing socceeeer in the highly competitive Major League in America and won two international caps for USA. Should be enough to get leeds back into the championship. wow he is a wreck it ralf disciple as well say no more !

From playing Marsch's Leipzig, they liked going forward and couldn't defend.

Can't really critique his Salzburg days given the disparity in resources and ending up with Haaland in Austria is like bringing a nuke to a knife fight.

I still buzz off all the posters on here who’d convinced themselves Bielsa was the next coming of Christ.

Absolutely wank and a proper fucking weirdo.

Good riddance.

one of a few mythical coaches to be fair - Wreck it Ralph being another and I don't see the reason for the faith in Potter either. Dyche is another one who "does a good job" - really?
