How on earth did an entire board think that was a good idea? One of the few good things you could say about Leeds was that they had such a classic, recognisable badge. Awful, and yeah I also thought it was a bit Nazi-esque.
 
That Jimmy saville badge. Can't stop laughing. Imagine if they really had that as the badge. Proudly wearing it and marching all together !

The salute is synonymous with Leeds, I've always disliked it, and them. I remember Peter Risdale, their Chairman, saluting the great unwashed at Leeds in that way as they cheered him on, they did not realise he was taking them under.
I have a mate who is a Leeds nut and follows them home and away. Me and him had a photo taken with Johnny Bairstow in Adelaide in December , my mate is pictured doing the same salute. I just asked him what he thinks of the badge, and he hates it. God knows who the muppets are who voted for it, if they exist.
