But he was a bloody good footballer. The problem with Revie's Leeds team was that they were all good players but he got them playing like a bunch of thugs.

When I was little boy of about 4 I can remember my (now late) Dad ranting about how much he hated Billy Bremner for being such a dirty little sod for ages. He went on and on! Dad didn't even have an English team then. He just totally hated Bremner!

It's always been my favourite non-City football pic ever. Bremner came up against a REAL hard man that day. I can almost hear Big Dave shouting "Right, you little twat !".

It’s been mentioned before, but MacKay was just coming back after breaking his leg, and Bremner and his dirty Leeds teammates were targeting said leg.

An absolutely horrible, nasty and cowardly thing to do to a fellow professional.
