That's when it's broken, doesn't mean they have to eat that very minute.
  • Timing: The fast is broken as soon as the sun sets (Adhan of Maghrib), and it is encouraged to do so without delay.
  • Initial Action: It is highly recommended to eat a few dates or drink water to break the fast.

So nothing I've said is false then?

Are you being intentionally stupid? I have no fucking issue with the break. Having seen players keel over and you know die, I don’t want to see that again. I can’t be bothered explaining again if you are too dumb to understand.
Your exact words were “ideally Muslims would not play during Ramadan”. How the fuck is that ideal you dumb ****? You NOW bring into it the “fact” that you’ve seen playerS keel over and die, as an excuse for your post and something you haven’t mentioned previously. Having looked at your post history and seeing your threads in the Matchday thread slagging seminar other Danrunna Bernardo Cherki (numerous times) I can see what sort of idiot trash you are. Now ignored you bigoted fool

Listen it’s not my fault you have a tiny dick.
Fucking hell there’s childish and there’s you. In other news how pathetic is it to “watch” a football match whilst constantly slagging players off from the team you purport to support? Now that’s sad shit. As for my tiny dick, well it helped provide me with 2 brilliant sons who go with me home and away and were there yesterday at leeds giving City plenty of support in a really tough game, while all the time you were on your keyboard slagging off City players. If you can’t attend the game in person just watch it in a pub with mates, oh wait….

I’m not sure about that. They are professional players, whose diet etc is continually monitored by the club. If there was any doubt about it being dangerous for them to play yesterday w/o intaking liquids they should not & would not have started. The fact that they did suggests that it was little more than a virtue signalling exercise from the PL, of which there have been plenty down the years.
As a matter of interest, which Muslim players have you seen keeling over and dying on the pitch during PL games, during Ramandan? I find it very very hard to believe that fit, professional players cannot go 45 minutes without having a swig of water and needing to do it because if they don't, they are going to "keel over and ..die"?....if that was the case they would not (and should not) be risked.

It appears the issue was the time added on. I must admit to being surprised when the ref blew up dead on time - we're all accustomed to seeing another 2 or 3 mins added on top of the added time. I think the ref showed the red very quickly to their manager.
I suspect Farke had already said something unacceptable, reported by the fourth official, and the ref was waiting to red card him as soon as he approached him.

arsenal will have numerous "drinks" breaks tomorrow, with someone going down "injured" whilst not getting "treated" so not having to go off for the regulation period, nobody will boo that.
Fans boo fake injuries and time delays all the time, what are you on?

.

But ftom a sports performance perspective getting nutrients into their bodies ASAP woukd be essential. Pep said those players hadn't eaten that day.

In reality, did that break have ANY negative effect on anyone or the game...no it didn't...

So why would anyone have any issue with it?

Pep gave people part of the answer to the last bit
