We shouldn't have played Mendy after last week yet he's played both games. He is average.
The Zinchenko injury has fucked us bringing a LB in this window.

Sterling isn't a striker, he just doesn't have the lethal streak, he scores a belter and his confidence should be sky high but one on one he cocks up.

Rodri though, think he had a beast of a game today. Foden and De Bruyne were not there physically. Ferna should be on from half time when we were cut through the middle too easily.
Let's be honest, Leeds are absolutely top class. From the three games they played they looked same level as top 6. Plus there is Everton of Ancelotti. Liverpool killed off these games so much easier than us, it's goong to be a long season.

Mendy is a convenient whipping boy but we could get away with his ineptitude if we put away our chances. The biggest problem is not Mendy.

Need a new spine. One with aggression and pace. CF and CM are positions we have to strengthen. Dias an unknown really. I’d have both Leeds full backs over ours and Phillips over Rodri. The money spent on Mahrez, Mendy, Rodri is criminal. We should give that Torres a run.

I hate to say I told you so, but...

This is a top four team at best. We'll not get anywhere near the title. You can blame Pep all you want but the real issue is recruitment. Mahrez is a £60m paperweight. He doesn't suit this team one bit and, I'm afraid to say, the early signs suggest that Torres is another one. Did either of them manage to win a single one-on-one? We lack pace right the way through the team. This isn't La Liga.

Leaving aside Mendy, who we know is a massive liability, our front three are the reason we didn't win this game. We gave the ball away over and over again. We conceded so many chances from giving the ball away high up the pitch. In the end, a draw is more than we deserve. We'd have stood a much better chance if Bernardo started instead of Mahrez, but I don't think it resolves all our problems even with Aguero and Jesus returning.

If I was a neutral I'd think that was a quality game of football.

But for a team as allegedly as good as ours to have a shot accuracy of 9% is dreadful.

Mendy started very well going forward. got a yellow then Became a liability defensively as well as giving it away every time he got it.

People need to realise as well foden is no where near David Silva, so many times last season people wanted foden in for Silva, foden is not good enough in possession to be a cm in our side. Say again cannot believe We aren’t replacing Dave, arrogance at worst naivety at best
