Leeds United (A) Post Match Thread

#ManCity have now allowed 14 shots on target across their last two games - more than any other team in the #PL in that timeframe.

This doesnt surprise me! lack of protection in front of the back 4....most of us have been screaming out for more pace/energy in DM...Fern cant do it for 90mins anymore....we needed more than CB's this summer...

Ederson is shite, few decent saves tonight to keep us in it(As expected from a keeper) but all too often gives goals away. Great on the ball but he's a keeper and not very good

fanny wipes ltd be doing a roaring trade tonight then, Leeds played well, they're a good side and full of energy, that was a tough game, stop being so fucking entitled
That attitude and the banner will soon be back up at old trafford

We were only Agüero short of our full strength XI today.
No we were missing Jesus, and started new boy Ferran.

Mahrez also told to play out of position as well, and these players have been mostly playing all the games recently because we have no squad and had no pre season.

We have some of the most talented footballers playing for us in the world who are possibly the mentally weakest too. Fucking mind boggling

Yes I think I agree but I think I’ve found the the reason why midfield is such a problem: we’ve declined in defending from the front.

Mahrez isn’t the reason why we didn’t win but his pressing was so lazy that 8 speculate it kind of rubbed off on Torres as well. Torres is the new guy so I can't blame him. If Mahrez, a senior player, is working his butt off, he’d be following suit.

Sterling worked hard but it doesn’t matter if only one third of the front line is showing conviction.

If our forwards worked harder in the press, our midfield could have players slower than Busquets and we’d still be fine.

Our pressing from the front has gone from near footballing benchmark to unremarkable.

Look at how much running Walker did, just trying to fill holes. We are not athletic enough as a team.

Same in the CL fumbled one into the Lyon players feet, Southampton chipped like a mug. I think he's average simple as that.

Simple fact is if our forward players take their opportunities the the odd mistake by Ederson doesnt matter , he made three match saving saves whilst our forward fluffed a dozen chances , aim your ire at the outfield players not Ederson
