A year on and we’ve taken a point against a far better promoted team

No shit! Bernardo just got back from an injury, Laporte came back from Covid a week ago. Dias started his first game today, Torres his first start today. Gundogan, Aguero, Jesus, Cancelo are all still out. We're catching up for having 6 weeks less preseason than other sides, we're trying to get the squad whole again.

Why did you think we were going to massively different straight away with all that's gone on?

I mean I'm sorry but what fucking world are you living in where we'd have a total reset from last season when we had a 3 week break and started with 8 players out and 4 new signings needing to be introduced?

I don't understand why it's hard for people to understand this.

We have been in a weird situation considering pre-season, new players, lack of squad size from illness/covid, those things DO have an affect, you can't ignore them.

Combined with the fact that Leeds are legitmately a great side, it all makes sense and is why I'm not upset.

Is that our in season pre-season completed? New players now have match time under their belt, hopefully more players coming back from injury. It's going to get better.

Relieved at a point in the end and I/we really shouldn’t be. This “be on fire and unstoppable for 20 mins then go to sleep” story has to stop. Couple of things: 1) Mendy. Thanks mate but total liability as a defender and has to stop. Ake from now on. 2) Mahrez. Just too damn lazy and lightweight. The difference Bernie made when he came on was almost a game changer. Yeah ok Leeds were tiring but nevertheless. I cannot recall a game Mahrez has taken control of?

can’t see a title effort at this rate but it’s early days. We. Need. A. Third. Proper. Striker. Sort it out fast.
