As I said earlier in this thread, for me we are at the business end of the season and I hope we have another 6 under par performances like that if it means we win 6 games of football, in fact we don't need to beat Real Madrid as a draw will be good enough. Obviously if we can turn it on and play in an expansive way I'm sure every blue on here would love that but I'll settle for six scruffy horrible to watch 1-0's if it gets us over the line. Just my opinion thats all.

Pep wanted him, so i am going to guess that part of Pep`s reasoning is, Grealish keeps possession of the ball even with fouls coming in, after all he is nor going to race down the wing then smash a 40 yarder in is he? asking him to do different to the reasons we bought him for is odd.

Once jack started to laugh at them his game improved alot. He seems to spend to much time arguing with the opponents.
He needs to adopt Foden attitude and just smile.
Much better from Grealish with a smile :)

I was a bit narked off with Jack early on in the game. Imo i thought he grew into the game and in the second half as you said laughed at the fuckwits. He certainly had more of an impact in that second half.

We all know the agenda by now , if i cant get to a game i watch on the TV with the sound muted , until we score so i can listen how underwhelming the commentary is for a few seconds and then back to the mute button.
A Dipper quadruple is good for the brand a City quadruple was anti-competitive , f*ck 'em.

Another tricky game superbly navigated through, next.
Cancelo's form is a real worry though, I counted about 5 times he needlessly gave the ball away last night plus he hasn't been in great form in some recent games.
The question is why?, he has done this before, last season he ended up in woeful form during the run in.
Is it nonsense to suggest his defending is questionable at best or is he just in a bad patch of form?

I think Cancelo is that good that when he plays a lesser team he gets bored and that's when he tries the flashy stuff. Whereas when he plays a seriously good opponent he concentrates for the full 90

I'm still baffled why we signed him ,especially for £100m. I hope to be proven wrong.

The other thing that baffles me is why Gab hasn't played striker more often this season. It is so much better when he is up top
