Whole coach got nervous upon hearing the team, Pep took a gamble and it's paid off handsomely. First goal was crucial, soon as we got that we had control. Back 4 were great, midfield was a bit open, especially first half but tightened up second half. Foden was good but he's still got some learning to do before he's a regular 8. Sterling was fantastic throughout, a real threat and seemed confident, performances like that are what gets you back in the side.
Crowd were brilliant. Really loud and sang constantly for almost the entire 90 bar about 5 minutes when they were piling on some pressure at 1-0. Also cannot mentioned their fans, I don't know whether it was because they were playing the champions but I didn't get that impression, either way they were brilliant for the entire 90, by far the best home crowd I've witnessed at an away game for a long time.
Great win the convincing nature of it really helps to create an aura that we aren't going to drop points. On to the next one.
