Leeds United (A) | Post Match Thread

Great result from a potential tricky game. I was surprised by the line up as I didn’t think Pep would leave both KDB and Bernardo out. For those who said that they had a bad feeling about the game, have a bit more faith and positvity. Referee was terrible and he nearly lost all control. Let’s keep it up Blues and shut those dippers up once and for all.

1st half was very poor.
It wasn't, we dominated for 20 minutes, then lost control a bit.

Overall we kept leeds to 7 shots, and 2 on target in 90 minutes (19 and 6 for us in comparison).

The final score might be slightly flattering, but we dominated them, it was a bit frustrating at times (gave the ball away too much at times), but it was a great win, and I don't think the result flattered us really.

Not seen the Opta stats but wouldn’t be surprised if 4-6 of them topped their distances aided by tierney being a bent **** it was a great result.

Sorry, but Grealish for me looks like a big mistake. Offered nothing again.....maybe that £100m might have been spent better elsewhere
There's been a couple of matches recently where Grealish has got stuck in while Foden has been largely anonymous at times and today was one of those. Worked hard, constantly targeted with no support from the ref as is often the case, and this was one of those battling games where he shows his value.

He's not a silky skills type of player which is why I think a lot of people don't see him as top class, but compare him with the likes of someone like Pogba who cost almost as much, does sod all year in year out and is walking away on a free....

That said, I always thought he was overrated at Villa and I certainly wouldn't have paid £100m for him, but that's not his fault and he's not the failure that many suggest he is,

Imagine it the other way round, Grealish would be red-carded as he's carried off on a stretcher as the press box celebrates with the Leeds fans.
Yes, for me it was late and it was reckless and should have been a red. As we know, ref was crap all day and he bottled it again. Injured or not, Dallas should have been sent off and I was thinking the same thing, had it been the other way around our man probably would have been.

In fact as Grealish was already on a yellow and given Tierney's performance to that point, I was half expecting him to give a second yellow.
