Leeds United (A) | Post Match Thread

The one that’s blaring klaxons atm is WHU game, don’t you think?

As Everton proved today, the table doesn’t mean as much at this time of year, because anyone can beat anyone and desperation is a strong motivator.

I think both clubs can definitely go the rest of the way without dropping a point. The only question is: Will they?

It’s why we play the games and don’t allot points based on fucking PL coefficients, like the cheating bastards at UEFA!!
I watched the West Ham v Arsemal game today and they were both absolutely, pedestrian, crap, so. fear not my far away brother. That stadium and pitch are made for us!
We have a good record at the London Stadium and we'll come away with the points, comfortably.
We aren't losing a premier league game from here on in.
Back on topic, truly great, emphatic result against Leeds, cutting the goal difference deficit with Lverpool to only 1 - they will be shitting themselves because they know what happens when they're in a race with City - the best team in the land and all the world!
:-)

That will be endlessly replayed when they go down
In his interview after the match, he was going on about the fantastic support he was finding when he went out in Leeds - not realising, in his ignorance, that he's in a one-horse town - or city. Who does he expect to talk to, FFS?
Dick.

I'm torn now between who I'd like to see get relegated
Burnley, Everton or Leeds is quite a decent trio to have to pick from and there are positives whichever one it ends up being.
I’d imagine though that it will be Leeds, as their goal difference is almost as bad as Watfords and GD is a great measure of likely relegation fodder.

Just seen that Dallas has sustained a femoral fracture. He's not getting much sympathy from me. I hope he comes back the same as before but he wasn't the victim of a nasty accident, he was hoisted by his own petard.

It's easy to blame Tierney for what's happened because he created an atmosphere that put the idea in Dallas' head that he could just clatter into Grealish and get away with it. But in that specific moment before the "tackle", Dallas thought he could get away with something potentially dangerous on Grealish and he's ended up crocking himself. His decision isn't entirely Tierney's fault. If you try to injure an opponent and end up injuring yourself then you've only got yourself to blame.

It was like when Scott Dann tried to end Kevin De Bruyne's season in 2017 and ended up doing his own ACL in the process. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I actually think you're giving Dallas too much credit. He's obviously just a bit thick
