Leeds United (A) | Post Match Thread

In his interview after the match, he was going on about the fantastic support he was finding when he went out in Leeds - not realising, in his ignorance, that he's in a one-horse town - or city. Who does he expect to talk too, FFS?
Dick.
One team in one of the biggest cities in the uk too. Leeds have also got the biggest catchment area of any club in England - down to Barnsley, up to Middlesbrough and across to Hull and lancashire, including numerous towns and cities, e.g. Castleford, wakefield, Scarborough, york, Harrogate, wetherby, Bridlington - their tickets should be like gold dust

Having just watched the highlights back, could Martin Tyler sound any more depressed each and every time we scored - the contrast to LiVARpool is off the scale. In the best words of the Pet shop boys, what have we done to deserve this?
Him and Neville mentioned Looserpools game / name multiple times, to the point where it seemed to be creepy.

That could be a new City song. The Pep shop boys....what have we done to deserve this? when we win the double.

Well played again Raheem. I have been one of your detractors so again credit where it is due. Your dribble and close ball control leading up to the Fernandhino goal was fantastic. Yes it was a penalty when the Leeds players shoved you in the back but it didn't MATA in the end. It would be brilliant for Fernandhino to get a few more goals for us this season. He absolutely loves scoring for us...he was smiling like a Cheshire cat after his strike. Well played City.

Don't Harrogate have a league team? York and Scarborough used to, and non-league teams have fans too.

Having worked in Sheffield, Leeds - the club and their fans - are universally loathed by supporters of other Yorkshire clubs.
