Imo, Pep will make 5 changes: Cancelo, Ake, Gundogan, Grealish and Sterling will start. Laporte, Mahrez, Foden and one from KDB/Bernardo will begin on the bench. Rodri, Jesus, KDB/Bernie to be subbed off, if we are winning by 2+ goals in the 2nd half.
Sounds easy

This will make or break us imo, we don't win this game then its a tough road ahead imo

Not a defeatist but right now if Pep had a choice Grealish, Sterling wouldn't start a game IMO, because of the Real game they will

Eddy right now needs a fucking arse kicking he is going to cost City big time

With it being Wednesday he might gamble playing a team he knows will come through then take off & rest

Eddy
Cancelo Dias Ake Zinch
Rodri
Berny Gundagun
Mahrez Kev Grealish

Anyone thinking anything other than pretty much our strongest 11 needs their head testing.

We will have had decent rest - Tues night to Sat eve, then we don’t play again until the Weds night.

Eddie

Cancelo
Dias
Laporte
Ake/Zin

Rodders
Kev
Bernie

Raz
Jesus
Phil

This game is huge.

anything but a win will kill confidence going to Madrid & league. Last nights game will of taken a lot of energy.

Grealish, Gundy & raz will start & have to perform. I’m not sure Gundy is right against an aggressive leeds either.

if we drop any points it’s this game. only positive is Liverpool’s game v Newcastle not easy either. I could see both of us drawing

6 games minimum left - put out the strongest eleven available for each game and do not over train beforehand.

Gaps between games:
  • Leeds (a) - 4 days
  • Madrid (A) - 4 days
  • Newcastle (H) - 4 days
  • West Ham (A) - 7 days
  • Villa (H) - 7 days
Wolves (A) to be slotted in somewhere between those last three league matches.

Leeds will be a tough match with us having one eye on the Madrid game.

I watched Leeds vs. Palace and it's not Bielsa's Leeds anymore. They looked like any other relegation threatened side, very little attacking output, lots of chances given up, not much midfield.

They're clearly in a transition from Bielsa's man marking to Marsch's German style pressing and unless we're really unlucky and this is the day it all clicks for them, it won't be much of a match IMO.

For those saying rest KDB not a chance. He is on fire at the moment and is our driving force. The difference in team momentum after he (rightly) came off v Watford was very noticeable. IF we get 2 ahead in a game then think about subbing him off

We have started to score a fair few now. Lads have their scoring boots on and I am not sure if it's a coincidence that we may be getting Haaland but the crosses into the box are being fizzed in. There is more urgency to fire them in. Any how if we cannot beat Leeds then its game over . 4 nil
