Haaland was off it vs Leeds but really good sides have a number of players who can rise to the occasion and deliver when it matters. Yesterday Foden did it for us, and it will be good for him that he did that. He's well on the road to being the player he was. Perhaps he is there now.
When a side has 4 or 5 attacking players it become really difficult to hold them because even on a bad day for the team, one of them will come up with a moment of magic. We used to be that side. Now we have Doku, Foden and Haaland who can in a moment change a game and we need one or two more (Cherki?) and at the same time we need to be able to assert ourselves for 90 minutes in games. At the moment I feel that if we do not make a game safe when we are on top, we will concede at some point.
We are close to having a top side again but it's a bit frustrating as if we go to Villa / Newcastle, we lose. We're still missing Rodri. But of course, any side would do so. Arsenal should be worrying about City, because if Rodri comes back, we will be a stronger animal.
