No chance we spend that kind of money in Jan mate. Probably loan 2 players and buy 1.
Agree with the rest tho -:)
It wasn’t a “shitshow”, it was a disappointing result where we weren’t at our best but still had enough chances to win comfortably at one of the hardest away grounds in the country, and but for the real shit show from the ref and var we’d have had at least one pen, a bar code sent off and their winner disallowed. The fact you’ve got a like from Fordy tells you everything you need to know
March 2012 late City comeback to salvage 3-3 draw at home to Sunderland. We all left the stadium thinking we'd blown the league and gifted it to the rags. Now, how big was that late winner yesterday, Sometimes a result like yesterday does 2 things really
The first is that you gain points on Arsenal, The second thing is that it breeds belief.

Without that point we never experience 93:20, Sergio's legacy is very different and our history is changed forever.
The forum should take his word and leave his original thread up.@Tim of the Oak would help anyone I know of cases where he’s actually bought tickets out of his own pocket to help blues , if he said it happened and was Leeds fans I believe it 100%

If it’s been removed just because of a tweet claiming ‘nothing to see here’ from the club then fuck City and fuck BM.

I appreciate the reply Ric, it doesn’t sit right with me this though. I’d question it if it was a large proportion of members on here who had posted the initial thread but not Tim.It’s been taken down for now because it’s an ongoing police investigation.
No idea, you’d have to ask them.So whythen did City see the need to publicly 'confirm' that no Leeds fans were involved?
The conflicting reports do seem a bit strange. Guess the full story will come out eventually.I appreciate the reply Ric, it doesn’t sit right with me this though. I’d question it if it was a large proportion of members on here who had posted the initial thread but not Tim.
Sonething is seriously wrong with this, and if it turns out the club are trying to sweep it under the table to avoid scrutiny they can get to fuck.
That is the problem though the full story doesn’t ever come out where the club is concerned - Istanbul , The Liverpool coin throwing incidents , People like Dodge and the way he is being treated - like many on here I’ve been a season ticket holder since I was 6 way back in 1976 and i still go home and away and Europe too however I have never felt such a distrust of the club and the policies they currently pursue - as much as I dislike Liverpool it seems to me that the group Spirit of Shankly have the right ideas in holding their club to account on various topics , I think we need to become more militant before it’s too late .The conflicting reports do seem a bit strange. Guess the full story will come out eventually.
For me it’s not full back where we are getting dominated it’s midfield where we lose control, Nico G desperately needs a partner, and it ain’t Reijnders. Hopefully Rodders is back before Jan. We are desperate for another midfield tackler, tracker backer. IMHO anyway. Although Nunes had a shocking second half yesterday I’ll grant youI still think there is plenty of money in the pot if the right players are available, Don't we have the new Etihad deal in the pipeline, rumoured to be around £1billion ? 3 world-class players that we need would be around £150 million
I disagree, he’s posted bullshit on here many times before now.@Tim of the Oak is not, or has never before been a poster who would make shit up.
Maybe he has, I’ve not read every one of his posts but I’ve read enough to know on this occasion, on an issue as serious as this, he won’t be making the story up. I’ve had disagreements with him in the past, don’t always agree with some of his opinions but he seems a pretty straight guy who’s a blue to the core and gains nothing from making this up.I disagree, he’s posted bullshit on here many times before now.

He was defending like mad late second half, important clearances, that is not minimal effort.Exactly, he has a free pass but it still pisses you off when you see him putting minimal effort in to games
Absolutely agree, but what we have to remember (or understand, in many cases on here) is that the rest of football has caught up, they're used to the way we play. How often now do we get teams who put 10 defenders on and try to hit us on the break? Now, how big was that late winner yesterday, Sometimes a result like yesterday does 2 things really
The first is that you gain points on Arsenal, The second thing is that it breeds belief. Yes, I know 2.0 up at home to Leeds at half time, City should have walked home and won comfortably.
But break it down, the week before losing to Newcastle and then losing in Mid-week, the pressure was on.
Long gone are the days when City was feared at home and away, that treble season and the 4th title in a row and that squad are gone for good. We now need to rebuild a new reputation and put the fear back into playing us and it will take time
I still feel give Pep his best starting 11 from this squad all fully fit with games under their belts it's good enough to beat the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. Rodri is a very big key to this squad, but Rodri is not going to be the player he was and this season and will be in and out
But what it needs are 2 new fullbacks and a hard-working box-to-box midfielder in the winter window ? Forget the cost just spend whatever it takes to get them in
It's not the fees, it's the salaries. That money soon starts to disappear and if we got a patch where we're not winning anything for a few seasons then it suddenly becomes a lot harder to balance the books (well unless you're United of course, then you can spend anything you like without question).I still think there is plenty of money in the pot if the right players are available, Don't we have the new Etihad deal in the pipeline, rumoured to be around £1billion ? 3 world-class players that we need would be around £150 million
