and Big Joe
True.
and Big Joe
You are right, it was Johnny K. A right evil looking fecker he was. Me and him hitched it Back from West Ham in the 70's, and he came back to mine to get a cab about 7-30 sun morning. My old man went for a piss and Johnny came out of the bog and scared my old man shitless ha haMy memory is shot but I'm sure it was the lad from the underground market who sold Leather coats that twatted him.
No, because he used to tell everyone he was an Arab.Yeah....wasn't he known as NOT PC ALERT paki?
Here you go mate:
And one of the comments:
"i was there too, first time i`ve seen this was probably too pissed off to watch motd, that`s the biggest away following i`ve ever seen at elland road"
A friend of mine used to hire the Godfrey Abbot United bus for some away games....not sure if anyone remembers but I'm sure it had United emblazoned on the side of the coach.....so it had to prk miles away from the ground.....didn't like the advertising on the bus....but we thought we were important travelling to a match with tables on the coach! The cops were a fucking joke at that Newcastle Cup tie. The segregation "barrier" was a line of "do not cross" ribbon and a few cops. Just before KO some Geordies broke through it and it all kicked off, the cops started arresting City fans almost at random. Some Blues went down onto the concourse and then the cops wouldn't let them back up to the terracing when the trouble died down. Then after Joe Royle(?) scored our opening goal there was more scrapping and some fans spilled onto the pitch to get away from it. It was a nice warm-up for a trip to Elland Rd in the next round!
I got knicked at that game before it even started about 25 City fans were arested before ko when Leeds went on the pitch loads of there fans who were arested were put in our holding cell .when they transfered us all to Leeds police station police put flexi cuffed City fans and Leeds fans to each other bastards thought it was funny
The old Ayresome Park was such a delight too.
