What about Marcos Alonso from Chelsea.
Granted he's getting on and not much of a defender, but he's an offensive threat, knows the league and he'd be cheap - £10m and £100k/week.

I think this is actually a great shout, even just on a short-term contract. He’s as good as anyone going forward from left back in my opinion.

I doubt we are shopping in the Premier League. Lots of European clubs would snap our hands off for cash up front I suspect.
