What about Marcos Alonso from Chelsea.
Granted he's getting on and not much of a defender, but he's an offensive threat, knows the league and he'd be cheap - £10m and £100k/week.

Anyone outside of PL. Any player from PL is at least 50m which is ridiculous. In the last 5 years 90% of the players we've bought outside of PL have been a tremendous success (Silva, KDB, Dias, Laporte, Eddie, Rodri, Gundogan, Cancelo, Zinchenko, Jesus, Sane). 50m for Cucurella, 100m for Grealish, 150m for Kane, 40m for Ake are all crazy prices. We should never buy any player from PL.

We must be getting agents calling by the hour offering up their players to us, any left back with ambition would be desperate to join us. Agreeing a fee with their clubs will be the issue.

I doubt we are shopping in the Premier League. Lots of European clubs would snap our hands off for cash up front I suspect.
