We used to say the same about Gundogan, even after he arrived, but sometimes the body just takes longer to mature and develop. That said, he only extended with Arsenal last summer, so it’s hard to imagine this one having legs, fit or otherwise.

In terms of realism and longevity of the squad id go for Ait-Nouri or Raum. Cucurella would also work well in our system

Personally, I'd prefer a right back, as I think Cancelo is a better LB. Every season I think we should replace Zinchenko for a specialist LB, but every season he keeps impressing me with his determination to succeed at City & improve as a player.

He's very similar in attitude & application to Gabby. This kind of attitude is good to have around, albeit there maybe better specialist LB options available.
