Knowing Pep's typical behavior toward the media- I am all but positive he was meaning "no more" as it was in the context of having signed a player- IMO even if he knew we're actively looking he would not let on as such. Just as Garcia joining the first team means zero as to whether he will be loaned out before the end of the window. It's similar to when I changed my mind on whether Bernardo wanted to leave City. For the past 12 months many BM ITK's have been clear that Silva was over his problems & happy to stay in Manchester.
However, when I saw Bernardo's post match interview after the Club America pre-season match, it was pretty darn clear to me that Bernardo wanted to leave, but he's happy in Manchester & if he doesn't get his transfer he'll respect the club & fans & still give 100 whilst he's at the club%.
If you read the reports it could be interpreted as "I'm happy in Manchester & will give 100% for the club & the fans". However the actual interview & his body language said something different altogether.
This confusion continued until Bernardo reinforced his "I'm not sure about my City future & the club knows what I want, but I'll continue to give 100% until the situation changes" in the subsequent ESPN interview 2 days ago.
Right now I doubt there's much doubt left that Bernardo wants out, but will give 100% whilst still a City player.
