Sorry if this question has already been asked, but in the interview this morning Pep said, when asked about Cucurella, that we have George, Joao & Nathan can play there. Who tf is George? Maybe he meant Josh, it was an early one and he did look pretty tired.
Weah is back, haven't you heard?

I don't get the flapping, do we need a left back? Yes. Are we in a significantly worse position that last year if we don't get one? No.

Walker and Cancelo are comfortable playing RB and LB respectively. We have basically swapped Zinchenko for JWE. He is not as proved and a completely different type of player being pacey and at a guess nowhere near as comfortable or experienced on the ball as Zin was. He will give us a different dimension overlapping out wide and having pace. If we go into this season as we are our cover is a bit less experienced and a bit lighter than it was last season our starting 11 is stronger.

With Ake as experienced cover too if we need it I think we will be fine
I'm not sure we can play both walker and cancelo at left and right back at the same time unless we are cloning them. Walker comfortable at left back?

We have one defensive full back and one non defensive full back.

The mental gymnastics people are trying to pull are hilarious on this topic.

People forget that when Pep accepted the Bayern job, Dortmund had just won back to back titles and hadn't won the CL since 2001.

I'm not saying it wasn't a challenge but, again, I'd struggle to call it adversity.

He chooses clubs who are at the top of their game in terms of structure and day to day operations; as he should because he's the best out there.

It's part of his high demands from himself and everyone he works with.
