So would be two fine antique glass jars - one containing the nicest home made Chocolate Cookies ever baked, the other a pound of expensive Italian Spaghetti.

Tho, to be fair, you wouldn't expect much of either at Left Back.
 
What about Sosa from Stuttgart? Linked in the summer, lots of assists, shouldn’t cost too much. Also, every champions league winning team for the past decade has had a Croatian in the team…

They’re only 1 point above the relation zone so maybe we could twist their arm. Could even loan them Gomez if he’s not fancied here at the minute.

Wouldn’t be opposed to that but we simply don’t play that kind of overlapping full back and his defensive stats seem pretty average

One of the best attacking left backs on the planet.
25 years old, and could probably be had for 25-30M transfer fee, and low wages in comparison to the rest of our top squad players.
I agree that it is odd not more was heard about this when we were linked in the summer.
Would have been a much better option then Gomez has been.
