Leicester (a) Carabao Cup QF post match thread

His many poorly placed passes. FFS, are you an idiot? Seriously. His pass completion was 94.5% - the best by far of any participant in the match - the only player in the 90's.
I did ask him had he checked the pass completion rate, I thought it was high, but even I didn't envisage it being that high, anyway its irrelevant apparently. As a matter of interest how many passes in total ?

Sure he can't run much now, but he didn't have to last night, for the role he was asked to perform, as the rest used him to great effect for me, and their youth saved him having to move a lot.

73 passes. Fourth most in the game. A low figure by peak Yaya standards but that Yaya has gone. His ability to control the ball and pass has not diminished though.

I know. They have been out for ages.

Some people are daft enough to care about Cake-Gate and are unable to appreciate the possible effect losing a younger brother might have on a person.

I can understand if people don't like him but last night I can't see what he did wrong. His passing was clever and it got us out of pressure a number of times, he was helping the younger players and was useful at the back. Wasn't it also him that dispossessed Kelechi in the lead up to our goal?

He was in our top 5 players for me last season and I fully understand why he was offered a new one. His time has come but in games that mean so little in the big picture, then he is fine being played for me.

Yaya is obviously getting towards the end of his career with us but that is no reason to be disrectful. Ungrateful twats. Been an absolute monster for us over the years...

A fact which most of us remember all too well. What a legend this guy has been for us. Sadly, nobody gets to beat time and his career is coming to an end. I agree 100% that he deserves the greatest respect for his achievements.

Adibio.....thought he was shite before last night, what a game he had winning the balls in the air. He and the other younger players did so well.

I must admit it would not have bothered me to get knocked out last night but I cant recall a time where I have seen a City team play with so much spirit,Bernard must be fooked this morning, so by the end I was cheering us on with the rest of them. Would have been gutted to see them lose that.
same here, couldn't help but get on board once we kicked off and i was desperate for them to overcome the ref and vardy and co and get the win, proud of them i am

Thanks, not at all surprised, who did more than him then, Bravo one of them ?

It did if you were bothering to look, I don't think he actually dispossessed Kelechi, but he bullied him out of the ball certainly, and it broke to Gundogan.
