Leicester (A) - Post-Match Thread

I'm sure a world class centre forward would help us but at least today we made their keeper and defenders make some heroic saves and blocks.

More important than to 25 shots we had, we only conceded 6 shots to one of the top 5 teams in the league. It's early days but the average of 5.3 shots per game we are conceding is very low. Our rivals are conceding far more chances at the moment. By the sound of it, Chelsea really needed their keeper today and the Rags were not as impressive as their scoreline and the Ronaldo hype suggested.

We have made a better start than last year.

Today was hard because Leicester put so many men behind the ball and are a talented hard working side. Maybe we were a bit ponderous and slow at times but it requires patience when the spaces to attack aren't appearing. We were patient though and we really try to take care of the ball.

The way we pressed and won the ball back was particularly good.
3 out of the next 4 away games are chavs dippers and scum. Ending that run within 3 points of the top, given already had spurs and Leicester away, would be a great performance

Here’s one, Bernardo’s obviously class.

Would people rather him had left but it meant Kane in or he stays and no Kane?
Not a fair question has he wants out for non footballing reasons, so the question pep et al had was Bernie for 1 year or Kane for 4-5. Hopefully covid travel become easier and he gets his end away more and footballing reasons play a bigger part for him.

Poor game from a City pov. We deserved the win but we werent on top of our game, so excellent result. Bernardo motm. Grealish a bit of a let down, ity's these games we brought him in for, to drive through the opposition, and the miss at the end was poor.

Most goals scored this season, who needs Kane. Early days though.
