Don't know,the commentary i had on the palace game said he wasn't fit,he did get that muscle strain the other week,hope that is the first question he gets asked but no doubt it'll be after the dippers and spuds questions

There was nothing in Stonesy's performance that would convince anyone that he performs as well there as he does at CB. Yesterday was a solid 4 out of ten!

Pep said he played well there in the cup game so he played him again,really he should have changed it at half time,i think he has too much faith in the players sometimes

Yeah because being on such a tight budget we will struggle to find cover for Fernie.

If we keep refusing to budge on our valuation of a player and other clubs keep offering more we do run the risk of missing out on targets.

According to Physio Room there’s no return date for Ferny, but Dave is in training.

Interestingly Mangala is still injured.

Would be nice to get Ferny & Dave back for Southampton and dippers.

I agree with almost all of this.

Obviously if Fern is fit he comes straight back into the team. If he is fit then Gundogan slots in beside KDB and Bernardo, imo, gets a well earned rest.

If Fern isn’t fit, then I would play Phil ahead of Bernardo. Big call, I know, but imo Phil deserves it, and his energy and hunger are qualities we are lacking at the moment.
