Leicester City 2016/17

You must admit, that your success came off the back of the shieks financial backing. I seem to remember reading that MCFC are technically the worlds richest club, and the perception is that for your new stature, you have under performed. Surely, its hard to fully dissagree.

With the exception of LCFC last year, every Premier League title in recent memory came off the back of huge financial outlays by somebody. I don't understand why rich American or Russian money doesn't seem to get the stick the way Arab money does. As far as under performing, I guess you could say that. However, according to the MCFC propaganda (rightly or wrongly) that I heard on a tour in April said that the expectations of the ownership have only taken one hiccup and that was the result of attempting to comply with financial fair play and the sanctions that resulted when MCFC was judged to be out of compliance. Other than that, the academy success and growth is on pace and there are real expectations of producing more quality players from the academy than any of the Premier League clubs. The thought being that if the first team is truly elite, it isn't going to be easy for an 18 year old to crack the lineup straight away. Now personally, I think they probably expected more from the academy, and the FFP stuff allowed the team to age as they weren't able to buy/sell as they had planned. Plus, it is damn hard to win the title. But all that said, winning 2 of the last 5 with UCL every season is something no other team in the league can boast, and now they can point to a man that many believe to be the best manager in the world.

Fair points.

Fair points.

It's more than a fair point because without foreign investment Leicester would have won fuck all. Your promotion to the Prem was funded by it, as was your title. Just because we invested more doesn't mean you would be were you are today without your sugar daddy.

Our team cost less than Eric Lamella!

You're deliberately missing the point. Without outside investment your club would still be languishing in the lower leagues. That is a fact, it might be unpalatable, but it is still a fact.

And at least 40% of that outside investment is from a mystery person/party.No one in the media or any leicester fan ive spoken to knows who the mystery partner is..our resident leicester fan doenst either, yet he is on here chatting shit about our funding. No club is allowed to have owners whose identity is not known. How have leicester got away with this??
As ive said before, when you have a billionaire owner, his influence doesn,t have to be articulated by multi million pound signings...
If its the Thai goverment, then this should be announced.if its some shady business consortium this also should be made public, unless of course, the appropriate fee has been paid for heads to be turned and the situation ignored...
