Leicester City (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

A much needed 3 points but didn't think we played much (if at all) better than many of the previous dozen or so games.

First half we looked decent going forward but a bit ropey in midfield and at the back. Second half we seemed to tire yet again and this allowed the opponent have the lion's share of possession and dominate the game. CM is a real concern and we are just too easy to play through and can't seem to dominate possession the way we used to.

It was nice to see McAtee have an impressive cameo and I think he showed enough to warrant more minutes. Foden showed that he really isn't comfortable on the RW.

It was also good to see Savinho weigh in with a goal and assist but I still think he looks more comfortable on the right. Haaland much more lively and involved. Surprised we didn't bring Doku or Grealish on for some extra energy to see the game out. Sadly I thought (one or two moments excepted) that KDB struggled again.

Anyway, a good 3 points and hopefully we can build on the result and start on a decent run.

Defensive performance still very mediocre and we were lucky a few times. However, I’ll take the win. Sometimes you just have to win ugly.

First half was pretty good and a little unlucky not to score again. First half of secomd was woeful although we coped pretty good but if they had scored we would have lost that. McAtee comes on and turned the game with just a few clinical touches. Pity he didn’t curl that effort in the top corner. In the end winning and a clean sheet was crucial. Win the next one and things could turn around.

Felt nice to win again

What has happened to Foden?

KDB is finished at this point. One of the best ever for us but it’s time to move on
Its a painful watch with KDB because for me he has been our best ever

Let him Announce hes not re-newing, he owes us absolutely nothing and can have his 6 month goodbye.
