Tbf the best call today was letting Gundogan have the afternoon off and go and get the big shop.

Both the scorers needed a goal, and took them well, and McAtee’s cameo was just what he needed. After the goal he helped create, the players made it patently obvious how thrilled they were for him, and he relayed that to the fans. Chuffed to bits for him!

Hopefully, that earned him a scintilla of Pep’s “trust”?!!

He has to be given a run now possibly in place of Phil who is looking so poor
 
It may not have been pretty and it may not have been totally convincing but three points and no new injuries are the most important things for us at the moment.
 
James McAtee. Don’t know him. Never met him. My eyes welled up with pride at his cameo. That’s how you show them, lad!

Away fans were by far the MoM for me.
