Good to have the real City back today, on the back our worst form in 20 years, constant singing and a gallows humour no other team can dream of matching. The bewilderment of journalists and other fans is delightful. We don’t fit their knee jerk narrative and they hate it.

This creeping Rico bashing is doing my nut in.

He’s a 19 year old kid ffs not the finished article 26 year old. He’s learning and yes he’ll make mistakes and make poor decisions at times.

Had we transfer planned properly and brought 2 CMs in he’d only be a playing here and there and being given the chance to feel his way into top level PL football.

I absolutely love his attitude and he always gives 100% and there’s not many you can say that about this season. You can see it hurts him when it doesn’t go his/our way whereas some of them don’t look one bit arsed.

Someone mentioned earlier, he’s this generations Richard Edgehill. Tries his best and that’s all you can ask. Not his fault he’s getting played way more than the manager had probably planned.

A special mention to Rico Lewis who’s bounced back in the last week with a couple of solid displays.

He is a very good player. People see what they want.

Think we looked much stronger without Doku, he’s just no end product, yet anyway , and we lose too much possession with him in the team, he’s got potential for the future but he’s not there yet

Gvardiol made more than one error .... the MEN have only rated his performance 5/10.

I don’t think he had a good game, but he’s never been a favorite of MEN. Even when he was in a good run of form, he usually had the lowest ratings on MEN (even when he would be voted Motm here).
