Yeah love Baby Rico. Anyone who can’t see how good he is, is a fool.I absolutely love 'im
He has had limited game time. This was his best game for us. I would like to see him start in the next 2 home games.Wasn’t sold on McAtee but his move for that goal was brilliant
Hope the lad proves me wrong and becomes a regular for us
Haaland for me. He could have had 3 goals and I liked his attitude.Comment in pub: "City edge out Leicester in relegation 6-pointer..." I was asked if we were lucky. No, just that our usual mistakes weren't punished (as usual). "That sounds like luck!"
I thought Leicester's MotM was Mavididi - I can't recall one occasion when we got the ball off him or he misplaced a pass.
Not sure who our MotM was. Not Ortega - if Vardy hadn't been offside, that could have been a red card (no attempt to play the ball). I'd actually give Rico a lot of credit for the brave forward pass to Phil for his shot - too often that's where we stop and play the safe ball back. I think Savinho for being in the right place to score (and putting it away) plus the assist for the second goal.
You have definitely increased your activity on here since we turned to shit. I expect a part of you quite enjoys it.So you didnt go back and read...proves my point....I listed a number of positives...maybe take a look at yourself and your own mindset (defensive, aggressive whatever) as you clearly ignored the positives I put and would rather just have a pop at someone .....KDB was poor....he has been all season and today was no different
I also said a number of players played well but yet again you either can not read or chose to focus on the negatives which is ironic as thats what you are saying Im doing.....
Happy new year
I see what you mean and in general, performances have been poor. But the big difference today was that their first good chance wasn't scored and we had some luckGlad we got the three points but didn’t really see that much difference in performance from recent games other than poor quality of opposition. Even then they had some near misses which could have changed the outcome. Anyway on wards and upwards
I love Rico's attitude 100% trier...no one can fault that. I do look at our development coaches though - having a lad all those years and leaving out some real fundamentals to making a genuinely consistent player in prem = to me all top players look like they coast a little - he always looks harried - it's exhausting watching him. Not really his fault as i think he should have had a lot more time spent on his ability to scan, read a flight of the ball earlier, get in a better body position to exploit opportunities etc = head up for me is the key attribute. His pass today - sooo much better - but that needs to be second nature in the premier league in all honesty. We need 100% to fill in as squad players - and this really is where Rico's ability lies not in a starting central position. Loads say im wrong - fair enough - but i blame our development staff as much as anyone. I see a bit of the lack of fundamentals in quite a few young lads here tbf..Even our Phil, get side on more than you can go forward more when its on.Someone mentioned earlier, he’s this generations Richard Edgehill. Tries his best and that’s all you can ask. Not his fault he’s getting played way more than the manager had probably planned.
