An ok performance going forward but defensively shaky. The difference a proper 6 to play beside Kovacic and another centre back would make would be enormous. Great cameo from McAtee

Certainly a more fluid performance, with Haaland much more involved from the get go.

Both the scorers needed a goal, and took them well, and McAtee’s cameo was just what he needed. After the goal he helped create, the players made it patently obvious how thrilled they were for him, and he relayed that to the fans. Chuffed to bits for him!

Hopefully, that earned him a scintilla of Pep’s “trust”?!!

McAtee is reportedly very popular in the dressing room.

I had visitors so couldn't read the Match Day thread and didn't know until at least 10 minutes after it finished so is it worth me watching MOTD2 tonight or will I just get annoyed? :-)

Be interesting to hear what is said about McAtee.

On a side note how many players in our team have the mental presence/confidence to do what Haaland did there......very few...rodri would...Dias would...but i think that is about it...
