Leicester City (A) | Post Match Thread

Yesterday was like a home match. Rodgers, you fraud, I know you are desperate for points but to be at home and basically wait until the last 5 minutes and then go for it, nah, not for me.

Well done lads, great save by Eddie in their one decent attack (which showed they could gave been more proactive)
One complaint, not one 720 degree spin in the whole match.

controlled the game. Leicester didn't want to play football until the last 10 minutes. Playing against us must be absolutely horrible. Slowly strangled and the outcome inevitable. It does demonstrate just how brave and talented Brighton were last week. I really hope they continue to do well as they will take points off our rivals.

They were helped in that last 15 minutes by a couple of soft free kicks.

Brilliant 3 points against a team that had no ambition to make a game of it for the first 70 minutes. However should we be a little worried we haven't scored a goal from open play (I appreciate VAR disallowed the goal at Klanfield) in the last 4 away games?
Let’s put that into context, though, shall we?

1) Copenhagen: Played most of the game with 10 men in CL, where the job was to not lose.

2) Liverpool: Nuff said.

3) Dortmund: Good team, needed 1 pt to win CL Group…and did it.

4) Leicester: We DID score, and scoring from a dead ball is most teams’ best chance of scoring against us.

While it’s great that we averaged almost 3 per game early doors, like Haaland scoring hat tricks every game, it’s just not possible and teams set up to nullify you.

And, in the CL, nearly all teams deserve respect, because they can ALL play.

I thought the referee gave them soft free kicks the whole game. There were a couple of horrible challenges on us that went unpunished by cards too. I didn't recognise the referee but was far from impressed by him.
