A wins a win. The most pleasurable part of this game for me, was not having to deploy our major players who were on the bench. Keeping them fresh for the destruction of clown land on Sunday.
Would love it if some City fans could turn up at the swamp wearing clown outfits with an elephant walking behind that has 115 written on it's body.

I must be in the minority as I find them both an exciting watch. Then again I was bought up on wingers with buzzer, tueart and barnes. True their end product needs a lot of work but I get a bit tired watching backwards and sideways ad infinitum.

It's called having standards mate. Some blues are just happy to be here and still have a 90s mentality. That is fine and admirable. Others, who was there in the 90s too are wondering how still with a wealth of talent on the pitch, with the best manager in the game leading them can, churn out boring tedious displays. We are all happy with a win of course, I said before we take it and we move on. Doesn't fill you with hope long term though does it.

Exactly. We all want the points. The problem for me was the lack lustre performance against one of the poorest teams in the league on our own pitch. It doesn’t fill me with confidence with our up coming game against that bag of shite on there own ground.

I think after throwing away leads and points this season from winning positions we were more than content to let Leicester sit back and play it around them. It was nice to see us actually pass the ball well and keep.possesion like we used to do, something that has seemed beyond our capabilities this season. It made for a boring game though.

Another moment of petulance when a pass wasn't perfect for him, gave it up far too easily and the ball strikes the corner flag and stays in play.

Not sure his temprement is right for us, more like something you'd see at the Rags.

That’s the most control over a game that we have had in moons. Can’t make mind up if it’s cos Leicester were shite or not having a big lump up front helped us control midfield

jeez, that was a tough watch. I think at one stage in the second half we must have had possession for about ten minutes, made hundreds of passes and somehow managed to lose about 30 yards ground. That just about summed the game up. Leicester had absolutely no ambition at all and we are happy to just keep making short sideways and backward passes.

I know the points are important but I really don’t enjoy paying to watch that crap. I hope we decide to turn it up a few gears on Sunday.

Personally I don’t see us winning leagues and CL’s again with Doku and Savinho both in the side. Maybe the latter would have been introduced more slowly had Foden not been so off form and we didn’t have injuries every game. Both are frustrating.

We need a great summer to replace the players that are past it and add some quality. This squad looks weak compared to previous ones

In fairness, Savinho is majorly reluctant to shoot -- maybe because 80% of his shots end up in row Z. I am struggling to recall a player who seems to have such natural flair but freezes up when he enters the box. Doku is slightly better, but both are immensely frustrating.

I know, hopefully will grow out of it but I have noticed it.

Rarely see our players berate or disappointed with a team mate.

We've had a tremendous team spirit over the last few years which has got us over the line, it needs to continue.

Had the same discussion last night when looking at the front 6 on show.

Compare to what we have had.

Never rest on your laurels as they say.

We have let a brilliant team age together.

You have to refresh every year, introduce someone younger and let go someone older.

We have let go young quality players and kept older crocks.
