Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

I think today's game showed both sides of Sergio which is why he gets stick on the match thread (some ott, some well stated). First half Leicester's 5 defenders crowded Kun out and Kun has a bloody mindedness to beat players and go for goal as an instinct, but ends up losing possession. 2nd half due to their change of system allowed Kun more room to operate in and that's when his deadly attacker instincts bear fruit. Allow him room he'll destroy you with his ruthless appetite for goals. Its still there.
 
Interestingly, our xG for the game today was almost identical to the Burnley game (2.61 today - 2.54 v Burnley). At least in terms of the shots we took in both games, we were just a lot more clinical today (I bet no one would have figured that out without xG...).

As much as I think you talk a lot of shit, I agree with your point. Sergio is still capable of magic, and showed that in the 2nd half. But in general, his performances this season have followed the pattern of the 1st half IMO.
But I love the man and he is still absolute quality on his day
 
I know it’s a great result, but why do I feel we are better with Sterling on right, and Bernado left, Pep obviously knows best, but still that’s how I feel.
