We are a 1 man team. If KDB gets injured its curtains.this.
and also double pivot at homemeans little creativity.
Quality of players is the issue.

And coaches that have assembled their squads for far less than what Pep has spent. So what does that say about Pep, our coaches and recruitment staff?
Nothing...why? They have won fuckall. Assemble all they want. Ask them to compare trophies.
Coaching Negative, defensive, counter attacking football is way easier than positive, take the game on football.Pep is getting outdone by coaches of a lot less ability than Rodgers
I think this is what I find irritating. Everyone knows how Leicester will play, we all know their attack is quicker than our defence yet we give them half a pitch to run into.It's last season all over again, in fact we are worse than last season!
The defending was abysmal, but even the best defenders in the world would struggle when they are expected to defend from the half way line every match. It's alright blaming the players, and many were awful, but it's the tactics that are at fault.
We can't keep playing the same tactics every game. After a couple of seasons teams get to know how to play against you. At the moment, they know to sit back, defend in numbers, and hit us on the break. Football is ever changing, and you need to evolve and adapt to be successful.
I'm afraid it is time for a clear out, and a fresh start, even if it means getting a new manager.
All of the penalties came from their forwards getting in behind defenders, don’t give them the space to do that. It’s entirely predictable.

But I have a counter intuitive and contrarian view, the problem for us is not in defence but in attack.
If you analyze any team you look at the spine of the team through the middle, in defence -midfield-attack.We have a top class gk to start,in defence Loparte is the main main around whom defence is built,midfield is anchored around KDB with others to support him, but in attack who is the main player- main forward to lead the line, good 1v1,consistent,someone who will frighten any opposition,deliver big goals and top performance in big games and win us the match,the absolute best in the class.
If aguero can't play 30-40 games a season and can't be the man around whom our attack is built then who to replace him with - evidence of last season seems to suggest none presently in the squad - mahrez,sterling or jesus can do what sergio does for us.
Who will replace sergio aguero and lead the forward line?that is big question for this team and this is question guardiola needs to find an answer to.

So one game every three weeks will make you match fit ? I think you're grasping at straws. We just need to find a very good left back, doesn't have to be world class, just be able to defend properly, make accurate short passes and make a few decent crosses.Mendy should only be playing in the Carabao Cup games. That would build up more match sharpness with less pressure

Less pressure. Eases Mendy back into the setup.
That’s kind of my point though. Lesser coaches and lesser squads are capable of and with more frequency are starting to find us out. There trophy cabinet may not compare but they’re able to effectively play against us. So an extension of my point is if they were in charge at City and had access to the same resources and players that Pep has had, might we be better placed, have won more and be able to change/adapt. Just because we have had a period of success with Pep should not mean that he is immune to criticism.
Personally, I think questions should and need to be asked. This is not one match in isolation. It needs to be seen in the context of what I think is an alarming pattern of results (even just looking post lockdown) Chelsea, Southampton, Arsenal, Lyon and now this one against Leicester.
