Leicester City Thread - 2022/23

Not sure why Potter would want the Leicester job given their current state. Confidence must be rock bottom given their recent results.
Would Leicester want Potter?

His reputation is badly damaged, I was a big fan of the jobs he did in the past but he looked utterly out of his depth at Chelsea.

Leicester need a quick fix, a fire fighter, they must stay up at all costs.

Potter was stupid accepting that job, but anyone can see why he did.

A club like Leicester would be the ideal place to put it behind him and get back to basics. The £21m in his account will just be a nice reminder of what was!

Leicester are a club in trouble, owner no longer putting in money and in serious danger of relegation.

Potter should go and have a nice holiday and enjoy his bag of cash, time for a break away from the game, the Leicester job could really destroy his reputation if he went there and they were relegated.

Been on the cards for a while. I'm surprised he's lasted as long as he has in the managerial stakes. Maybe Leicester will persuade Steve Bruce to get back on the roundabout.
Oh good Christ no

I was thinking about both surviving and getting them back up. Time will tell. I’d feel poorly treated for a start, but also keen to
Put it right behind me and start again. That was an absolute mess he walked into there.

Ange would be perfect for the Leicester job. Hoping they reach out to him, especially now he's on the final straight of another title with Celtic

I asked my Leicester-supporting mate two questions this morning:

1. Was he pleased that Brenda was gone?
2. Would he welcome Potter as his replacement?

His answer to both was a resounding "Yes".

Would he? Winning a one horse race isn’t hard. Slippy fell flat on his arse at Villa. Ex Old Firm bosses don’t fare well without their referee pals at the SFA.

He's an excellent manager - top class. Adapts and wins almost everywhere he goes.
