Leicester City thread

8 wins and a couple of draws from the last 20 games will see Leicester promoted, they'd have to have a record breaking downturn now not to get promoted - either that or sack the manager and bring in Rooney to replace him.

If and when they do come up I wonder if Leicester's Pep style will fair any better than Burnley's Pep style.
They've managed to retain some lads with PL experience and Enzo has integrated them into his style, so hopefully he will. Will be interesting to see how they go on if they encounter any PL teams in the Cup.

Plus they've just beat Huddersfield easily with our style of play, hopefully we will do the same on Sunday.

Leicester were playing Napoli only two years ago, no comparison really to Burnley other than the Man City connection.

Summer re-build will be a big part of how Leicester eases back into the PL table. Pep's tactics depends on the players and their quality that enables them to be technicallly fluid, the owner of Leicester City will know this and ensure the signings in the summer will be to the level required.

You're in a lower division than Burnley pal, don't get ahead of yourself.

No doubt we'll find out when we get drawn away in the forth round...

Doesn't mean much, its about club structure; the size of the club; and available funds. Those 3 are the glooming differences between the two clubs. So comparing Burnley's current predicament to Leicester is apples and oranges.

We were relegated due to a terrible and toxic self-destructing manager who was initally expected to place Leicester at 7th or 8th before the season started. It was not to do with squad quality or ability.

1. Rodgers lost the dressing room
2. Froze out key starters
3. Played players out of position
4. Set-piece coaching was non-existent
5. Important players downed tools

The rest is history.
