Leicester City v City post match.

Zabba a right midfielder? Sagna a centre back ?, kolarov a left midfielder ? The list goes on and supposedly we have the best coach in the world. It's getting ridiculous.

These points ar spot on.

What he's doing isn't genius, it's him using football to masturbate his ego, that is he's doing all this purely for his own amusement.

Into Dec and he's treating games like pre-season.

Again, which of the four penalties that weren't given were not penalties.

That's not to excuse the defending but we were denied four pens. None of which would be considered soft.
So the plan is to win 4-6? Penalties have always been talking points (although we've had many more than everyone else over the last 5 years) and many are not given. 6 long balls in 50 minutes (last week and this) and 5 goals conceded. It's really not good enough.

Anything to do with our performance or goals conceded is immaterial to the question.

The ref has missed three stonewall penalties and one that most would give.

The third (4th that you can't remember) was Nacho being hacked from behind. Bein called three of them at half time. The real 4th was the handball.

The personal digs as because in your attempt to show everyone how much you know and how correct you always are (surely wasted on here), you fail to understand the pertinent point which is that despite that performance, the ref failed to do his job.
I don't think they would be given most of the time and certainly not for us. After a few early in the season they just don't get given. Leicester know they won't get given so defend using that knowledge.

Plenty of positives tonight, the pitch looked good and stood up to the rain very well. no sendings off, I like that away kit and the result keeps us in the champions league position.

One corner two pens could have been given on Stones and Kolarov, foul given against.
One corner one pen could he been given on Kolarov by Hugh.
Nacho hacked down from behind, clear penalty according to Bein.
Handball not given (weakest shout of the lot but still mostly given).
Please tell me we're not blaming the ref for this shambles

What a very uncomfortable post match from Pep there. Almost weird. We defended well?

It's noticeable how his early relaxed style in his post-match interviews has already given way to a sarcastic, defensive manner. Surely this over reliance on the use of irony will backfire on him. He needs to call himself and the team out after the shambles we witnessed today. No excuses whatsoever.

You are seriously blaming the ref for that shambles?

No. as I've said, performance was shite by City, doesn't excuse the ref for missing the penalties.

And if you're fishing then great for you.

Think it's time to look to the youngsters who ARE comfortable in this system.

Most of these players just aren't and never will be unfortunately
