Leicester City v City post match.

A
He needs another couple of Windows to build his own team but look what Conte has achieved with the way he has adapted a style of play to suit the personel he has available to him after seeing early on in the season plan A wasnt working

Keep throwing money at the problem hasn't worked last season or this season, he has to learn to adapt, being stubborn is one thing but being flaming pig headed is a completely different thing and Guardiola is being flaming pigheaded!! Tonight was the first time I have come close to swearing on the forum and last week at the match I came very, very, very close to swearing at a match!! I don't go to the match to swear or get at our team I go because I hope to watch Manchester City play the best football. Last week granted it was the ref I was as annoyed with as the players but this week it is the players and the manager, especially the manager!!

When you play 3 at the back they are there to defend time and time again I see kolarov the furthest forward
This ain't right and playing kdb left wing back is an absolute

He gave Nandi a yellow for a car in copy though. I was going mental at the time in real time.
I'm not in the mood for an argument, the Fernando booking wasn't a foul to me either, but I didn't think they were the same 'fouls', and in game I didn't notice the foul on Kelechi.

Like I said I'd rather reflect on the performance of players, team, and management, and on no level was it anywhere near good enough.

Watford will have watched that, and will rightly think they can get something on Wednesday night, and if we don't learn very quickly they will, not to mention the 2 games after that, we could go into the Christmas period in a bit of a mess, in fact its already a bit of a mess for me.

You mean except for them 10 on the spin we won at the start of the season?!!

Jesus Christ, have you even been watching the games?!! We looked unstoppable with Silva and KDB in front of Fernandinho.

Since he stopped playing them both in the middle together our form has fallen off a cliff!!!

Since Gundogan has come into the team it has meant playing one of them (usually Silva) out of position.

I am not that person, i made comments in the pep and the future post the other night and all you did was try to shoot me down and pointing out bravo's stats were better than joe's and i was a tit, ring any bells well i stand by everything i said
seems we both do.

Do we need a suicide on here tonight, not gonna go thru this whole thread but I can imagine there's gonna be plenty of fuckwits on here baying for blood.

It seems pretty clear that right now Pep is in full experimenting mode. He is a risk taker, and with a minimal fear of failure.

We should expect a few more days like today before he gets it right.

Oh it's all part of his masterplan. I feel so much better now.

It's was four at the back today. Unless you are claiming Silva was a wing-back.

It was sort of three at the back in some weird 3-4-3. Zabaleta as a wingback / right midfielder, Gundogan as a wingback / left midfielder and de Bruyne or Silva as a winger (not sure, it was so fluid) with Navas opposite on the right wing. Back three was Sagna, Stones, Kolarov.

Actually the set up was so fluid I don't think even the players knew what was up. Zabaleta was once higher, once more back as if it was a 4-3-3. It seemed at times as though Zabaleta fell back in to be the third man at the back and then Kolarov went forward and the structure changed with Kolarov as the wing back.

Overall it was unclear as f... It was some weird experimentation that was crap.
