Pep has a lot of work to do. I just dont know why we cant get a team to defend under Pep he aint a fool he can set out some great tatics defending should be straight forward to sort out. Cut the 3 at the back straight away. Get Ottamendi and Stones as a pairing until Kompany is back. Stones needs dropping once Kompany is back his confidence is shot for me. Midfield on up to attack we are grand. I wouldnt be shocked to see us signing a few players in January if we can get them. All fullbacks at the club needs replacing who are regulars of sorts. Its last season all over again next 2 games 6 points is a must. Tell the players to shoot were like Arsenal of years back pass pass pass pass teams to death with no player shooting if it is not Aguero. Fucking tatics adapt to what we have play every system apart from 4-4-2 so far. He has a lot to learn once he sorts out what he wants we should be grand the season is long away form were grand home is were we need to sort it asap.

Absolutely agree. My 3 point plan would be:

1) Bring in Roberto Mancini as DoF
2) Bring in some one like Meulensteen from the rags to shore up the backroom staff
3) Get the Chinley Blues to build a big wicker man and burn some f@kker at the winter solstice.

Right, here goes.
Bravo - Too small and not particularly good. Not too bothered if Willy takes over. Would love Joe back but that train seems to have left the station.
Stones - Not a good enough defender. Possibly play him as a defensive midfielder where his mistakes may be less costly?
Kolarov - Very good on the ball but slow off it and again not a good enough defender especially in a back three. Obviously being targeted now.
Zaba - Love him but now too slow.
Sagna - Decent right full back.
Otamendi - Like him.
Clichy - Better defender than Kolarov but past his best.
Kompany - I wish.
Guadiola - Not convinced yet at all. The team tried to the end today but looked disjointed. We have conceded the same goal 4 times in one week and that needs immediate action. For a team with our resources and transfer spend there is no excuse that carries any validity.
Midfield and attack - Wonderful possession stats until the opposition boot the ball up field and score.

Where is the Kolarov from the start of the season? The one we were saying looked reborn as a central defender?

So disappointing that he has reverted to type.

The problem is his lack of pace. He does okay against not particularly quick forwards, but against ones with pace, like Vardy, he gets exposed. He also looks flaky when put under pressure.
