Leicester City v City post match.

No, I think you need to SIT DOWN and analyse what happened Guardiola, it is time for you to sit down with people who know the PL, people like Brian Kidd, Kiddo would have told you what to look for today. Experience does count sometimes you know!! And in Kiddo you have someone who knows the PL inside out.
Kidd isn't the awnser mate.

I think we are for a long season to be honest, pep isn't going to change his system anytime soon, he will continue to play it no matter what, yes its going to suck arse, but in the long run I think it will work. As pissed off as I am with todays result, If this is the system we are going to play whats the point playing a different system only to have to change it next season and suffer later on, we may as well become accustomed to it and take the pain now so its easier down the line. I know we all want results now, but I'd take a shit season this year and continual improvement there on in. Look at loserpool they had a shite first season under klopp but now they are looking a pretty decent outfit, we just have to have patience, and in hindsight, the first 10 games got us all giddy.

We all knew the weakness of the team last year. I'm damn sure pep did too, we did go after a centre half (laporte) but the lad shit out at the last minute, thats not really peps fault and shows he was aware we are shit there, we also struggled to move on the players in their last year so we could only do so much in bringing players in.. We have had our hands tied to a certain extent here, and as much as it annoys the shit out of me I'm glad the club didnt panic buy and leave us with more dross and a huge wage bill. Out of all the players in the last year of their contract I cant see any being kept on, that frees up a huge chunk of money and plenty of places for us to improve the squad, I know it hurts now blues but the future is bright, so fuck it have a drink, the only way is up.

Agree the future is bright, but this season, not going to be good :-(

What gets me is many saying Pep is a tactical genius who studies teams relentlessly before the game.

Everyone knows how Leicester play now and so set up accordingly...everyone except Pep it seems.

Amateurish.

The way I see it is that without Vinny, the defence has been a liability for the last two seasons and the only thing that kept us in many games was the goalkeeper.

We've now got basically the same defence but substituted a good GK for another liability yet we are surprised the end result is in effect the same old shit if not worse?

Pep will get it right, I have no doubt but I think it will take another couple off transfer windows and as much as I'd like to be proved wrong, I don't think Bravo is the answer between the sticks.

You are probably right but lets face it we've seen plenty of shit seasons so one more with a good chance it's going to be much, much better after this one isn't to bad. I know after a result like today it seems a long way off. But you never know they might actullay pull their finger out at some point an we may even win a cup.. stranger things have happened like a team on the verge of relegation winning the league the season after.
