Leicester City v City post match.

We're about 1/3 of the way through the season now and here's what I've learned:

1. First thing's first - Bravo is fucking garbage and Pep wants shooting for dumping Hart in favour of him. A very very bizarre decision.

2. This 'playing out from the back' - This is great if you're Barcelona or Bayern in a league where it's 'allowed' out of respect / fear. This is the premier league and no fucker gets away with it here. No team ever has. It needs to stop as of today. It simply does not and will not work in this league.

3. These constant personnel and formation changes - again no need and totally avoidable. Pick your best 11, playing them in their 'proper' positions, let them gel, let them build cohesion and momentum. See Chelsea this year and Leicester last year for proof it works.

4. The Barcelona game was a double edged sword - we haven't played well since - because most of this mob now think they've made it and no longer have to do the fucking basics anymore.

5. We are half the team (defensively) without Fernandinho. I've championed him for years as the best in Europe at what he does. Take him out the team and it becomes glaringly obvious he isn't there to 'mop up' and bail us out 5-10 times a game. We need a 2nd Fernandinho in this squad.

6.Pep isn't as clever / good as he and most of us thought.

I agree with 1-5, especially No 5. I think he is very good (one of the best, with Ancelotti) and very clever but ego and idealism can get in the way of the job of managing the team.Everybody is not dumb in England, and there is a reason why idealistic football is not really adopted because It gets smashed!. So there is no unseen, unknown nuisanced innovative idea or equation that will break the England code. It comes down to playing the game of football at the end of the day. Be a good team, pick the right tactics and play with diligence, hardwork and intelligence and success will come.

Ok....

But we lost cause our defensive set up is shambolic and we have gone off the boil offensively as well......the refs performance has nothing to do with the shit tactics and team set up..,
If we had got the penalties and got domething from the game its just papering over the shocking style of play that is just not good enough and when ots ewually predictable how teams are going to score against us then pep isnt doing his job properly

So here goes...ill put my neck out on the line. I will.predict that against arsenal if we pmay with the same tactical approach and system....
1 we will lose
2 their goals will come from our players losing posession in the middle of the park under pressure or at the back due to trying to play out of the back with players thst cannt do it or against players that are too good to do it against
3 girroud if he plays will bully one of our fullbscks into an error or goal near a back post

Now if i can see this before the game i would prepare for it and change the set up...will.pep????????

Giroud couldn't bully a 6 year old girl so if that happens we truly do have a massive fucking problem.

:( Giving me a headache all this... lets just hope tomorrows results cheer us up to take the edge off it.

I'm fucking off out for a pint going to find the shittiest pub and sit in the corner on my own and get leathered

More than just me picked you up on the post I replied to.

A team can be awful and also poorly officiated at the same time. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Nice that you notice I'm rarely wrong. Unless of course you're being sarcastic, in which case, which of the four pens the largest sports broadcaster on the planet thinks we should have had is incorrect?

BT haven't replayed 4 pens and I noticed 2. Send me the links to the "stonewall" pens and I'll review then honestly.

Anyone who did not see that coming today missed out. Vardy not scored for 3 months, we play them so dip your bread Vardy, hammering for Leicester midweek, the team which was put out by Pep, Lawro predicting a defeat. You could easily write the script. Bookies offering 4/1 on a Leicester win, too good a chance to miss.£100 notes on, meant a £500 quid won. . The only thing I cannot fathom why I still feel so pissed off by such a shit performance. Why because that team doesn't give a toss about us. I just feel sorry for the fans who paid good money to go and watch it.
